Fruits of the Forage work with market garden orchards and growers to collect the remnants of these orchards and hedgerows; long neglected but still producing fruit. This has allowed them to find heritage varieties that are more suited for preserves than as eating fruit.

To help biodiversity Fruits of the Forage are planting more of these heritage varieties in small projects across the UK.

Fruits of the Forage are caretakers of rediscovered old orchards and provide a demand for the produce of ancient hedges and biodiversity plots of farmers and gardens.
